How to Join
Sporting Recovery delivers a social prescribing pathway for anyone who have or are experiencing mental distress. Social Prescribing is about linking people up to activities in the community that they might benefit from.
At present entry is by referral only. Referrals can be made via any multi-disciplinary teams, e.g. Community Psychiatric Nurses, OTs, Care Coordinators, Housing, Probation, GPs and Drug & Alcohol agencies or Job Centre Plus. Please contact us for a referral form.
However, if you would like to attend and have no contact with an agency or health professional, please contact us directly.
If you would like to refer someone to our programmes please complete the online referral form. The referral form contains information, which will be required for any person attending a Sporting Recovery exercise programme.
Alternatively, you can download the referral form and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
