Don't be afraid, step ahead of your feet
Joining Sporting Recovery Wellness Clubs could not be easier. You’ve taken the hardest step.
Why Join Us
Sporting Recovery exercise programme delivers a social prescribing pathway for anyone who has or is experiencing mental distress. Social Prescribing is about linking people up to activities in the community that they might benefit from.
We ask clients to use their personal budgets if available. Donations are also welcomed.
Joining the programme is by referral only. Self referrals can be made via your GP or any multi-disciplinary teams, e.g. Community Psychiatric Nurses, OTs, Care Coordinators, Housing, Probation, and Drug & Alcohol agencies or Job Centre Plus.
If you would like to join or refer someone to our programmes please complete the online referral form. Alternatively, you can download the referral form and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The referral form contains information, which will be required for any person who joins a Sporting Recovery exercise programme.
If you would like to attend and have no contact with your GP or a health professional, please contact us directly.
