A Legacy of Hope Celebration
A legacy of strength – A future of hope…
Come and join us in celebrating the achievement of local Southwark residents from BME communities. In celebrating the success of local sporting heroes, we can bridge the gap between young and older residents. This performance demonstrates how physical activity builds positive mental health.
In keeping with our aims, you can help raise mental health awareness within the BME communities. We have come from a place of strength and there is hope for the future.
Sporting achievement and future hopes – there is a football tournament between local teams, involving different community groups. Come and share Short Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton and Basketball with local residents and engage in creating a positive environment.
Health & Well-being Activities – Tai Chi & Qi Gong, Yoga, Dancing (Hula Hoops) Gym and Non-contact boxing are available to provide a relaxing environment. Our resident DJ will take us on a journey from the successful artists from our past to the current and future artists of the present. Come see our local celebrities who will talk about how their sporting activity has improved their mental health.
